Situation

The Analysis fits when the Check has already surfaced areas for action, or when it is clear from the start that a topic needs closer examination. You choose one of two angles: the AI Potential Analysis examines selected work and business processes for sensible AI use cases. The Knowledge Work and Capacity Analysis combines knowledge management, process review and digital collaboration.

What gets clarified

Which causes lie behind a known problem, and which steps are worthwhile in the short term and the medium term.

Process

  1. Initial call and scoping

Together with management, I define the scope, angle and people involved.

  2. Interviews

Individual conversations with key people and staff, at the depth the topic requires.

  3. Reviewing processes and information flows

I look at concrete work steps on screen and review existing documents and systems.

  4. Assessment

Classification by benefit, effort, risk and feasibility.

  5. Prioritised recommendations

Short-term improvements and medium-term development steps, clearly separated.

  6. Results presentation

With room for questions and joint prioritisation.

Result

The report is not described by its length, but by what it enables: clear, prioritised next steps.

Outline

  2. General findings
  3. Identified pain points

Example scenario, not a client project

  1. Starting point

A knowledge-intensive company learned during the Check that a lot of time is lost coordinating between departments.

  2. Scoping

Knowledge Work and Capacity Analysis angle, focused on handovers and coordination structures.

  3. Interviews and systems review

Conversations and a look at the central filing systems reveal duplicate documentation in several places.

  4. Result

The report recommends a binding handover structure and a single filing location for work status as a short-term measure.

This shows what a typical engagement looks like. I adapt it to your organisation's structures as needed.

Typical questions

  • Which recurring tasks take up time without directly creating value?
  • Where do decisions depend on individual people who are hard to cover for?
  • Which approval and coordination steps regularly take longer than necessary?
  • Where would generative AI actually save time - given the data and structure you already have?
  • Where does information exist twice or contradict itself?

Brief distinction

The Analysis goes deep on one concrete topic without covering several departments or initiatives at once. For a cross-departmental view, the Audit is the fitting entry point.
